Our Beliefs
LBC holds to the historic Christian faith, trusting in the words of the Bible and celebrating the gospel of grace. We believe that gospel of Jesus Christ is as relevant here and now as it was there and then. And here at LBC we’re community of people that respond to the gospel by trusting Jesus and seeking to love God and love our neighbours.

Our PastorNathan Spies has ministered at Lawson since 2021. He is married to Kate and they have 4 children, Lily, Daisy, Poppy and Pat. He loves seeing the truths of the Bible made real in everyday life and loves being a part of the LBC church community.
Before Lawson the Spies family served in Bolivia, developing and resourcing local Christian leaders. Nathan enjoys talking over hot drinks, reading books aloud with family, gardens, exploring, road trips and the soaring Sea Eagles. |

Our People
Lawson Baptist is a family church where friendships span the generations. At LBC we love following Jesus together. There are lots of ways to connect with people at LBC. We gather on Sunday mornings for worship, in the week at Bible study to share life together, and also host age appropriate activities for children and youth.

Our Gatherings
We gather together at 9.30 on Sunday mornings to sing God's praises, to pray, to hear God's word and to take out time chatting over tea and coffee afterwards.
